Here is a picture of part of TERT OH-1, stopped for lunch in London, Kentucky. At press time, the caravan has passed through Chattanooga on Interstate 75 on route to Macon, Georgia for their evening stop.
This mission, to get an 18-person team assembled and deployed in 96 hours, was a herculean effort, and was made possible in large part from the kindness and generosity of community members and allied organizations. We gratefully acknowledge Franklin County Emergency Management and Homeland Security, Ohio MARCS, Motorola Solutions, the Box 15 Club, Heater Meals, and the staggering amount of community members who donated food stuffs for our deployment.
Our thanks likewise goes to the operational and elected leadership of each agency that allowed their personnel to answer the call for assistance. Without their collective support, this deployment would not have been possible.
